Matchday 1

The first matchday of the 2013 edition of the Baruch Champions' League was as eventful as ever. In the first game, Arsene Wenger FC triumphed over the Black Stars 3-1. In the second matchup, CSA FC was trounced by BM United 8-2. Yes, 8 goals to 2. In our final game of matchday 1 Vertical Campus United edged out Dynamo Balkan 6-4.

The matchup between Arsene Wenger FC and the Black Stars was closely contested for most of the match, as the game was level for much of the 20 minutes. However, the Black Stars appeared to tire down the stretched and Dovlet Bairiev proved to be the difference, notching a brace for AW FC.

In our second matchup saw CSA FC take on BM United. This one was actually a close contest as the second half began 2-2. But then CSA seemed to run out of gas as BM turned on the style. BM would go on to score 6 unanswered goals and win 8-2, with Isaias Castillo scoring a hat trick.

Our last affair was a back and forth battle between Vertical Campus and Dynamo Balkan. There was many ties and lead changes in the affair but in the end Vertical Campus proved too much for Dynamo Balkan, edging them out 6 goals to 4, with braces from Juan and John.
